Empowering Your Belief
Recently I had the good fortune to get on a call that, I can only say, I still feel resonating with the energy and vibrations stimulated by the topic of discussion: BELIEF.
Talk about residual input! We were encouraged to share one moment of success or something good we each experienced in the past week or so – and share we did – everyone on the call did – believe it - I was there. And the successes ranged from personal to business and were all a cause to really celebrate. Some stories included being in the moment, in the “flow” and having things just appear or line up as needed – incredible. Others were triumphs, still perhaps in the flow, of product sale, product testimony and new relationships to build.
There’s a new buzz of awareness within this Universe which we all are a part of, not to re-invent but to become attuned to a timeless truth within us all. A Belief so strong it’s woven into the unconscious, yet we act upon our Beliefs every single moment. Leaders, Coaches, Mentors, teachers, are accelerating their efforts to reach out, encourage, support and help anyone willing to listen to Believe in themselves.
You’ve probably heard this a thousand times by now, that All that You need is already within You! What You Think, You then Believe You Are!
Let me take this a step further. One predominant thought throughout the evening was the power within a single word and it’s positive or negative effect.
When You hear the word, L o v e, every single person reading this automatically brings forth the definition of it; we can relate on various levels to the emotional impact this word implies. Think of it, LOVE was first felt and expressed by our ancestors as a feeling or emotion; then later perhaps transferred into a symbol to express the emotion, and finally a civilized word for all to understand. So since the beginning of time, the word Love, the emotion or feeling it emotes, has always been interpreted on a universal scale as a positive, powerful and good thing!
Naturally, Universal Law demands that with every positive emotion there is an opposite negative emotion, and of course through time negative words have also been passed down to the present time.
Words have Power, and within that power (the meaning and definition we attach to each word) resides our Belief. The Belief we have in ourselves comes from what we choose to say and feel. Through the use of positive emotions and words we can celebrate even the smallest of victories; by the same token, we can totally destroy our self-esteem, confidence and even doubt our value when resorting or allowing a negative word to escape our lips.
The Word alone, Belief, cannot elevate Your Being nor move You forward or backward – after all its “just a word.” When You fortify the word with a decision to focus on all the positive and good things, and being the emotional creatures that we are, Feel it - nothing can stop You from moving forward, experiencing more successes to Celebrate!
By Definition the word Self-Talk is Mental Thinking: The things that an individual says to himself or herself mentally. Think about that power for a moment! What are You saying to Yourself?
Consider this: The Power of Your Self Talk Builds Belief. Re-examine Your Self Talk – what words have You written down and/or memorized? You must Believe every word You’ve chosen within Your Self Talk in order for Your Belief to grow.
Did You know it takes 21 days to form a habit? It takes just as long to break a habit You no longer wish to participate in as well. Do You Believe that?
Any Critical Thinker will want to question and consider the truth behind that above statement. Are You willing to discover the Power of Your thoughts and words?
Challenge Yourself for the next 21 days.
1. Celebrate any and every success daily; No matter how small, Celebrate any good thing that happens – whatever Your going through, if You look hard enough and keep the right attitude, You’ll find something good about the experience. Believe it!
2. Stop All Negative Words. Be conscious and aware of Your choice of words and do not allow any “bad” or “negative” utterance to escape Your notice!
