You may be a “Red” if

Posted on December 21st, 2007 in Colors Training, Recent Posts by Sarah Thompson

.. if You are very direct, much like the Blue. But what happens is, sometimes people think they’re being open, when they’re not. They are just very, very direct. You refsue to show weakness of any type. Reds will come right to you and want to know why You are asking that question

Reds are very Direct and self contained. They will go right to you and want to know why you are asking that question.
Red is so direct in answering your question that you might think they’re being open with you. But they aren’t. They’re being direct, and they are going to control the conversation.

They’re going to ask you a question, and don’t think you’re going to avoid the question. They will get their questions answered.

In business or in your personal life, what you struggle with more than anything is your relationships with other
people. It’s much more obvious in your personal life, because you can’t order your family around and still maintain their love.

You may be a Red if…you allways dress for success You wear designer clothes. Whatever the “in” look is, that’s what you focus on. Whatever is designer, new, sheik … Dark suit, red tie. You wear power suits or power clothes. You wear what the president of the company would wear. You have a monogrammed hankie in your pocket with your initials on it.

What Reds really need help with is their ego. It’s a monster, and they want it constantly stroked. If Your a Red..You think you’re perfect. You think you’re always right.

You think you’re the only one with an idea. But you’re not.

You are domineering. You are short tempered and impatient.
You must have it TODAY! NOW!

But the biggest problem you have is, you are just unteachable. You are going to do it YOUR way 100% of the time. You won’t pay any attention to anyone else, unless they have earned a ton of money. And then you might try to steal their system.

The only time you can ever really learn from anyone else is when you’ve had your butt kicked, when you’re down on the ground, down on your knees, and you reach up your hand. When you finally get there, THEN you are coachable.

You love the phrase, “It’s my way or the highway!”

When you speak, you are 100% direct, to the point. Your words ooze power. When someone asks you a question, you answer to the point, boom, STOP. No chitchat, no small talk.

You make splitsecond decisions, based on money. If you see an opportunity to make money quickly, you’re ready to go.

You have great strengths. You are an amazing producer. You are the best negotiator. You have energy to burn. You are a risktaker,a naturalborn leader. You have confidence. You take action. And you’re independent. You’ll just take right off and start doing it.

You could jump out of an airplane anywhere, hit the ground, and start building a business. You just do it. You don’t need anybody to help you or hold your hand. Nothing gets in your way.

You like to sell and to be sold.

You May be A red If.. In Your Personal Life, Even as a parent, it’s all about the money. You spend very little time with your family or your kids. You don’t hug them, love them, nurture them. You buy them the clothes, the toys, the plasma TVs, all the fancy stuff money can buy.

But all kids want is to be loved. They want the attention. They don’t want the new car, the dirt bike, the fancy clothes. They want to be loved, plain and simple. It’s not THINGS they want. It’s your time. It’s your love. It’s you.

You love to tell others how much you make. Of course, you tend to exaggerate. You are always to the point, and you don’t talk about feelings, unless you’re mad.

You use a lot of abbreviations, and you capitalize a lot of words.

When you eat out, you don’t try new foods. You only go to the finest restaurants. You’d never dream of asking what the specials are. You stick with what you like. But when you eat with others, you want them to have what you recommend. And if they don’t order what you order, you want them to taste yours when you get it. And you are the first one done.

Shopping is no problem. You just have someone else do it for you. You want designer clothes, status, labels, designer automobiles. Maybe a Lincoln Continental Eddie Bauer series. Those cars are made for you. It’s the same as the regular Lincoln Continental, maybe one more chrome lugnut,
maybe part of a vinyl top … something that makes it a little bit special, a little bit different. THAT is what you want.

You like to drive the most expensive vehicle. Mercedes Benz was built for you. And you’ll drive the stuffings out of it. When it blows up, you’ll get a new one.

You can show everybody, “I got the most money, because I’m driving the best vehicle.” Even if you were living in a tent, you want to drive a very, very expensive automobile.

You’ll drive as fast as you can and just push people off the road. They have no business getting in your way.

You might go to the art gallery, so long as it’s a very prestigious art gallery or museum. You’ll go to a wellknown play, then go back home & brag to your friends that you saw it.

You take some good tours when you’re on vacation. You don’t want to get all sweaty … it’s important to be comfortable. You want to be wined & dined & catered to. You expect that, and you feel you deserve it. You go to the shows or plays, but it must be something very popular currently. You wouldn’t waste your time on anything else.

Reds love anything to do with making money. You wouldn’t be caught dead knitting or doing a jigsaw puzzle. Never, never, never. You won’t go out and risk your life parasailing. You’d get sweaty. It’s too risky. You’re worth too much money. The world couldn’t go on if something happened to you.

You May be a Red if…Your office is expensive looking.
You have nice artwork on the wall. Any trophies, plaques, and awards you’ve won are featured in your office. You probably don’t have any empty walls … you’ve got something hanging on every wall.

You LOVE being the manager. You want to be in control. In fact, you are going to control every situation every time, no matter what. You will always be right, no matter whether you’re right or not.

You like giving orders, and you expect those orders to be carried out. Your bottomline orientation gets outstanding results in the corporate world where everyone fears you because you could fire them. So they have to perform.

Your #1 concern is, “How can I make the most money the quickest?”

You are often in sales. You love a frontend load, blow and go, bodies laying everywhere, 100% in your face marketing.

For you, that’s no problem. You have no problem taking advantage of people. “Get out of the way. You’re a loser if you don’t do this!”

This makes 90% of everybody else sick to their stomach. You laugh at them and mock them and flaunt your superior “salesmanship.”

Ninety percent of the population, to achieve good business results, must work as a team. Not you. If anything, you’ll just start your own team, so you can do it your way.

Your #1 Action To Change Your Life

The biggest thing that would make a huge difference in your life is to understand the other personalities. They all have great value, equal to yours, and you don’t realize that. You need to begin your study with My success e-book then develop the ability to be a chameleon –mimic the other personalities when dealing with them.

This will totally change your life.

But the fact is, you’ll probably never do it – because what’s important to you is money, not people.

Action #2

Spend qualitytime with your family, especially the kids.Play with them. Enjoy them. Love them. Give them the affection they’re desperate for. Otherwise, by the time the kids are teenagers, they can’t wait to get out of the house, can’t wait to get away.

This happens by design. It’s not an accident. But you can change that by giving your time and your love.

Red is money motivated, driven by money. Everything in their core revolves around money, success, being #1 in the company. Yellow isn’t at all focused on money, and they often have more of it than Red.

If Red calls you and decides to join your network marketing business, don’t dare try to stick them under somebody else. They are going to be sponsored directly frontline to you,
or not at all. “I don’t need anybody to burp me, diaper me, hold my hand. So don’t you think you’re going to put me under somebody else.”

So don’t go there.

And don’t think you’re going to coach Red. Because Reds are not coachable. Some of my very best friends are Reds. But I wouldn’t have them in business with me if you gave me the company.

I wouldn’t do it.

You go out to eat with Red, they try to order you to eat what they’re eating. If you meet with them in their office, they never tire of telling you how their company’s success depends entirely on their actions.

I just couldn’t tolerate their ego.

You may be a Red …When you go on vacation, it’s going to be planned. Doesn’t matter if you don’t have the money … you’ll just put it on a credit card. It’s got to be the best of the best. You travel to Europe … you want to see distant places.

Money is no object. You might fly to Hawaii, first class plane tickets, the hotel penthouse suite, the best of the best, all the way.

The Strengths of a Red ..You will be the Best negotiator, have Lots of energy, be a Risk taker, be very Confident, You are a Natural born leader, Very action oriented and Independent

The Reds Weaknesses..They have a Big ego, are Domineering and quite Unteachable, The best mentoring you can do for ANY of the Colors is to get them this e-book, Success in 10 Steps, it is Yours simply by clicking the link. The more a person understands all 4 personality types and their strengths and weaknesses, the better that person becomes at overcoming their own weaknesses and adopting the strengths of the other personalities.

When talking with a “Red”, YOU become Red: selfcontained and direct.

Stroke their ego. Focus on the money. Don’t waste their time talking about your family or vacation or anything personal. They do not care. Let them tell you all their successes.

Of course, there’s an easy way to connect with each of these people. And that is to LISTEN. When you listen, you will learn what Color they are. And when you listen, you will know what questions to ask in the brief periods where you are speaking.

If a Red were an animal they would be the “king of the beasts” a Lion or a “seeeverything”Eagle, maybe a bloodsniffing Shark. Reds will use words that are power statements:

· “My friend, the CEO, had dinner with me.”
· “The CFO is my nextdoor neighbor.”
· “The owner of the company & I play golf together.”
· “I got a $35,000 bonus because of my production.”

They’ll always tell you how much they make … and it’s usually a lie. They tend to exaggerate. Reds are to the point, and they don’t talk about feelings, unless they are mad. They use a lot of abbreviations, and they capitalize a lot of words.

You know you are “Yellow” when…

…you are open ( you give information freely and answer questions willingly ) and you are indirect ( you don’t respond with the ask for information but give another response and they will answer your question and stop ) your voice is soft and gentle and you dress casual and comfortable, khaki’s and Birkenstock sandle’s, T-shirts and sweats. You are dependable, a great team player, the patience of Job and you are supportive and nurturing. The Yellow walks at a slower more relaxed pace and their handshake is warm and soft. The “yellows” are just amazing people, They are the best listeners, so dependable and they make friends very easily. You are also over-sensitive, a follower, and you are not goal oriented. You dis-like pushy and aggressive people, bullies and anyone who is mean to animals. They don’t like any kind of confrontation. They choose occupations as school teachers, veterinarians, day care workers, nurses, network marketers or anything to do with nurturing and giving back to others.

Yellows have built the largest organizations when they finally get the belief that they can do it. They are natural mentors and don’t even have to try to make friends. All they need is the belief in themselves. They enjoy life and they enjoy being alive. They dance to a different drummer and are naturally sweet and serene people.

If the “yellow” were an animal they would be a cuddly Koala Bear, a precious baby deer or a slow and steady turtle. They love animals as much as they love other people and will go to war over what they may think is an abused animal. They use such words as ….together, feel, caring, loving, nurturing, sharing, teamwork, help or anything to do with feelings. These are the most feeling-oriented people. They don’t talk fast like the blues but, they are not carefully enunciating their words like the green either. They talk about family and the family run business, anything to do with nurturing.

If you are a yellow, you’ll probably be found knitting, or doing any kind of craft in your spare time. That is when you have any time left after taking care of all the family members, the animals and the household chores or duties. You’ll make woolen potholders or you’ll crochet. You could go down to the craft store and spend all day looking at the different craft supplies or trying to make up your mind what you want to do next. If a family member or friend wants to go to the beach or to the batting cages you’ll go but you might take your needlepoint or craft project with you. The Yellow loves nature, walking through the trails, hiking or bike riding through the woods is the yellows favorite past time. They take along the bottled water, the trail mix, granola bars and some fruit in case they get hungry. They will bring the trash back with them before they will spoil mother nature. They love to smell the flowers, walk along the river bank and watch the small wild animals play. They also like the museums and the art galleries.

Yellows have the most well adjusted kids on earth. They are happy and well loved, cared for and nurtured. The child is the future of the world to the Yellow and they spend time with them, answer their questions, hug them, kiss them, tell them they love them and that they are proud of them. Natural Born parents, the yellows are!

When it comes to decisions the Yellow is never going to be sold, they will make a decision quickly but it won’t be tonight. They need some more information but not a lot. They just want to be sure that they are doing the best thing. The yellow will readily go along with a friends recommendation and that is usually the easiest decision they will ever make. The Yellow does very well in a team, even if it’s just one person. They actually need a team.

The Yellow drives a sensible vehicle, often a mini-van. That’s perfect for the yellow and the family pets and the children. Even if they don’t have kids, they will still choose the functional mini-van or an SUV. They don’t care about the style or whether or not it’s the latest model or if it’s sporty. They drive the speed limit and pamper their vehicle. If the book says to change the oil at 2500 miles the Yellow won’t let it go to 2600. They’ll keep it clean, inside and out and never abuse it. When you ride with a Yellow you’ll know right away because they are safe drivers, they never break the law.

Money is not often very important to the Yellow. They’re fine if they have it and fine if they don’t. They like to enjoy their family and spend time with them and you don’t need any money to do that. The Yellow will want money in order to help other people. If you go shopping with the Yellow they will spend their last 5 dollars on you and not buy themselves anything and they will be really happy that they could do that for you. The Yellow enjoys shopping, they will take their time and find all the bargains. They never buy designer clothes, they don’t wear them so they don’t buy them. The Yellow buys comfortable clothes to wear themselves, sweats and stretch pants, T-shirts! They are very frugal when shopping or dining out or on vacation. The yellow does not need to spend a lot of money and when they do they often feel guilty. They think about all the good that money could have done for people who don’t have any. When the Yellow goes to a restaurant they order what their friend is having, they eat at a slower pave, very relaxed and they always take a doggy bag home. The Yellow has credit cards but they are at risk of going into debt buying stuff for other people. The Yellow has been raised to believe that they have to work for some body. That is often the reason they take a little longer looking at things. They will become an Entrepreneur if a friend shows them the opportunity. They won’t read the companies Policies and Procedures either. They join a person they trust and they don’t need to know anything else. You won’t often see a Yellow in a management position, they let people walk all over them and take advantage of them. They want everyone to be happy and have everything they want. They don’t like the management positions because they don’t want to be the one to tell anyone “no”

The Yellow will always have a pet. It is usually an orphan that they got from the animal shelter or one they rescued. The pet is never trained because it’s a free spirit and it should be able to roam the world and do what it wants when it wants. The Yellow don’t care if the puppy chews the table leg or pees on the rug. They’ll laugh and let it keep chewing and then clean the pee up.

To mentor a Yellow it is important to help them understand not to take thing to personally. They are over-sensitive and they take things personally, they buy into others’ excuses and always conform. They are not goal oriented either. These are the most important things for the Yellow to work on. They need to understand that when someone says “no” to the opportunity that they are NOT saying “NO” to the Yellow personally. The timing just isn’t right and they may say “yes” next week or even tomorrow. It is important also to build a good solid strong relationship with the Yellow. To mentor, coach or sponsor a Yellow you must become a Yellow. Talk to them about the family, the causes you support or the charitable work you do. Become the caring, loving and supportive friend that the Yellow is looking for. Never focus on the money with the Yellow. Show them the team and the systems that you have in place that will help them to help other people. Give the Yellow powerful personal testimonials about the products that you use and how they have changed your life.

In summary, the Yellow is an awesome person to sponsor or coach into your business. They are nurturing, caring, loving and supportive. They also build huge organizations once they believe in themselves and finally understand that they can do it and that there is a system they can use and there is teamwork involved. To get started learning about the personality colors and their likes and dis-likes so that you can inter-act and relate to them in order to build the fast strong relationship that is crucial to the Yellow click on the Mentoring for Free graphic on the top of the page to download the free “Success in 10 Steps” give it a read and then contact me at;

You may be a “Green” if….

Posted on September 14th, 2007 in Colors Training by Tina Gregory

….you are in-direct ( you don’t really say what you mean ) and self-contained (you don’t give a lot of information ), you are extremely organized and you plan things and events days ahead of time and think the world is coming to an end if something or someone upsets your perfectly thought out plans! You are very dependable and can be counted on for anything you are ask to do. You are accurate in all of your calculations and judgements. You are task persistent to the point of hard-headedness! You are a wonderful problem solver. You follow through with EVERYTHING! You will not make a decision unless you have every little fact and figure you can get your hands on and it has been researched at least 3 to 4 times. You are looking for the “why” in everything, you want to know exactly how it works and what makes it work that way. You are over-analytical, hard to please, lonely and often prone to bouts of depression that no one can talk you out of. You love graphs and charts and doing research, it doesn’t even matter what it is you just love to do it. You hate pushy people, no facts and being late. If anyone is ever late for an appointment or a phone call with you it is seriously frowned upon! You are always very punctual “Greens” do not like being sold! You only want the facts, figures and the data. You will analyze it, research it and sell your self.

When you are talking to a “green” they are trying to calculate and figure out ahead of you exactly why you are asking them that question. So, take a breath and slow down. You can’t talk to fast with the “Green” They think they are the smartest people on the planet so they try and figure out why you are asking them the questions you are asking. Ask the question then let it sink in before you move on to the next, slow down the pace. The “Green” will not give you more information then they think you need. They enunciate their words correctly and they talk slower so that they can try and figure you out and why you are asking them these questions. The “Green” spends so much time in their own heads that they get paralysis by analysis and they are incapable of making a decision for fear that they will be wrong. Always give the “Green” breathing space when you talk to them. They always expect you to listen to every word they say and if you don’t listen they will scratch you off their list. The “Green” is a perfectionist and very hard to please. They are naturally pessimistic about everything.

“Greens” make up 35% of the population and should not be skipped over just because they analyze and do the research more than once, want ALL the facts and figures and will prove that it won’t work. Once they do the research and figure out that it could just work they make some of the best business builders there are. It will be well worth your time to coach and mentor the “green”

“Greens” love going to the national monuments and the parks. Washington DC, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian and the White House are all on the agenda. You will spend a lot of time there reading all about American History, analyzing it and researching it. You love excitement as long as you can read about it or hear about it. You just don’t want to do anything exciting now because that would be to risky. You don’t like spending a lot of money on stuff that you don’t need and you easily get frustrated when someone else does. You worry about money.

If the “green” were an animal he/she would be a wise ol’ owl, a plotting fox or a nosy giraffe. The pet they choose always fits their personality. Their dog will have stature and style, be well trained and groomed. It would never chew on a table or use the floor if nature called. Anything curious and cautious. When listening to a “green” talk you will notice that they use words such as “could” “maybe” “possibly” “try” and “we’ll see” They value logic very highly and they use a lot of tentative words, just in case they can’t do it or they are wrong. The “green” likes to check out the crash ratings of the new Volvo 700 series just to see how good they are doing. Someone once told them that the Volvo was the safest car on the planet. Research of any kind is like a hobby for the “green” analyzing stuff fascinates them and they have never been happier then when they are collecting data. One of the reasons they like research so much is because they can do it alone. They don’t have to rely on, or be around other people. Their standards aren’t as high as yours and other people are prone to careless mistakes. If the “green” does all the work themselves they don’t have to keep an eye on someone else, or make sure it doesn’t get screwed up. The “green” likes to do crossword puzzles, word jumbles, jigsaw puzzles and any other puzzle where they can problem solve, be alone and analyze. Once a “green” realizes that it is fun to stay up late, go dancing, go to the theatre and comedy clubs they will do it and they’ll have a lot of fun. They’ll take the historic trolley ride all around Key West every time they are there. They dress formal and conservative and walk stiff and straight. They never have facial expressions, at least where anyone might see them. They have picture of the home office on the walls, a globe on the table and they have a soft and slow handshake. They will be engineers, accountants, mathematicians, professors or anything to do with logic, reasoning, data, facts and figures.

A “green” faces struggles as a parent because they with hold their feelings. In their heart and head they know they love their son, daughter and wife but they hardly ever say it out loud. As long as they have told you once that they love and care for you they think that’s enough. They think, “Well, I told them once, Why do I got to keep holding their hands?” “Why do I have to keep showing all this affection and attention?” It may have been 5-10 years ago and people aren’t wired that way, the kids need to hear that you love them more often. So, when the kids grow up they’ll still talk to the “Green” mom or dad but they won’t want to be around them because they weren’t shown the love, affection and attention.

“Greens” will make a decision in a week, or a month sometimes two….with ALL the information, facts and figures. You have to give them more data, more data, more data! They look at why it’s NOT going to work and they need all the data to prove to you that it’s not going to work and why. If you give them the right data you can get them to prove to themselves why it will work! They you’ve created magic and the “green” will dig in and build a huge organization right before your very eyes.

If you go for a ride with the “Green” you will know right away. They are the safest drivers on earth. They never change lanes, buckled up tight in the seat belt and they would NEVER go over the speed limit. They will map out the route completely, marking all stops and exactly how long they will be at each stop. They drive cars with the very highest safety rating ( the Volvo ) they never rev it up, or redline the engine, and the maintenance is performed by the book, never late! And chances are, this car is a little dirty inside and out!

The “green” often does not work well with a team because they are always correcting people. They don’t mean anything by it but they are so judgmental. It’s got to be perfect, perfect, perfect. A fumble or mis-spelling is close to the end of life as we know it. The “green” will hurt peoples feelings, not ever meaning to do it. They are just being “Green” and they’ll say, “Well, I’d want to know if I was messing up.” But guess what…other people don’t want to hear about it. The only ones who really want to know if they are messing up is the “Greens” So once the “green” tells any of the other colors that they are messing up they have made an enemy. That person isn’t going to get along with the “green” because they were to harsh. The “green” will not stand for being bossed around either, they will tell you where to go real quick! The “Green” tries to avoid confrontation at all cost. Confrontation upsets them! They just don’t like it at all. It’s tough for the “Green” to build relationships but once they do they are the most loyal friends you could ever hope for. You have a friend for life in a “green” unless you commit some sort of treachery upon them.

Money is important to the “green,” they will pass up a good deal for a chance at a better one. They clip coupons and comparison shop to find the best price or value and they love to shop online because they can take their time and find the best value for their money, they won’t waste all that gas driving around town and there’s no other people to deal with. Perfect for the “Green” The “Green” wants money because they are worried about life’s problems. The more money you have the less chance you’ll be destroyed when problems strike. The big risk that a “Green” faces with a credit card is spending more and more money on information sources to help with the analysis of whatever the great interest is at the time. A “green” will happily put $15,000 on a credit card to attend a seminar that will train them on how to make more money. They struggle with being entrepreneurs. They are absolutely convinced that the way to success is through education and more education. Just one degree is never enough. They are so indecisive and suffer with analysis paralysis to the extent that they very often let good opportunities slip right through their fingers.

When the “green” goes shopping it is like a hunt! They have their coupons clipped and organized in alphabetical order in the coupon holder. They have a detailed and organized list and everything they pick up is immediately checked off the list. They will get the best price for anything.

To mentor a “Green” simply give them the facts and figures, the charts and graphs, all the data, answer all their questions when they ask them and leave them alone. They will make their own decisions once they have analyzed everything more than once. They will call you once they have made up their mind. Just provide the information and don’t pressure them.

The “Green” dresses neatly, not over dressed and not under dressed. You will wear a nice pair of shorts, a collared shirt and there will be a crease in your slacks. You may have a pen in your pocket, maybe two. You look professional, distinguished. You don’t feel the need to impress anybody and you’re not at all flashy.

The difficulty you have as a “Green” is building relationships. This is a major obstacle to the success and happiness you want from life. The main reason you have this difficulty is you don’t know what to say and you’re afraid to say the wrong things. There is a very simple solution that will change your life and that is to……listen! Practice listening to people, don’t talk. Don’t start a conversation with some list, some agenda of what you want to talk about. Instead just say, “Hi, what’s up?” and listen to what they say to you. Ask questions about what they say to you and just go where ever they want to go with the conversation. When they ask you a question answer it and then get right back to them. Find out what they are doing that interests’ you and find out more about it from them. When you actively learn to listen to people it will change your life. You will suddenly be seen as a people person and then it’s important to remember how you got there……by listening! Learn to listen and never go back to needing some agenda to talk to people about. Open up to people, your friends and family especially! They need to hear how you really feel about them on a regular basis. They need to be told that you love them.

In summary, remember that we are a combination of all the colors and once you learn how to identify another persons color you will have a huge head start on building that relationship fast. You will know their likes and dis-likes and that will tell you how to interact and relate to them much better. You Know You are a “Blue” if….

Posted on September 11th, 2007 in Colors Training by Tina Gregory

…you are scattered and dis-organized, you start 100 things a day and only manage to complete a few, if that many! You have sticky notes all over your home and you very rarely follow up with anything. You LOVE to have fun, and if it’s not fun, then you are not very interested in doing it and that includes work! You love to talk and often exaggerate. You will voluntarily tell your life story with very little prompting and the minnow you caught while fishing in the neighbors back-yard pond will turn into the shark you caught while fishing from the deck of a cruise ship! You are “direct” in your answers and very “open” and you make up 15% of the entire population. You are confident in what you know and in what you do. You love being with people and you are often the life of the party. The “blue” craves excitement and things that are fast paced, you would rather drive the race car than to watch it on TV. You are an excellent promoter, are enthusiastic, bubbly, motivating, convincing and very creative. “Blue” personalities are some of the most creative people on earth! You also have a short attention span. If you were an animal you would be a curious cat, a friendly dolphin or an unpredictible monkey. The “Blue” will enjoy hobbies such as scuba-diving, jet ski riding, parasailing, dirt-bike riding, rock climbing, hiking and drag racing, anything that is fast paced and exciting.

“Blues” are loving and attentive parents and they show their children how to have fun at an early age. They are the parents you often see riding the bikes and playing catch in the front yard. They show they care and give the children the love and attention the kids need. The “Blue” sees the big picture immediately! They will make an instant decision on the spot with NO information at all. They love to drive fast, always over the speed limit and they drive sports cars or anything fast. It MUST have a V-8 engine a V-6 simply will not do! If the car needs an oil change at 2,500 miles the “blue” will push it to 5,000 miles and justify it by saying that they drive a lot of highway miles. They keep their vehicles clean and the chrome polished, ready to drive off at a moments notice.

Money to a “Blue” is an opportunity to get the things to have fun with. The dirt bikes, the fast cars, the boats! “Blues” also love doing the things that make big money, starting your own business, singing in a band and building race cars. To a “blue” the actions themselves often mean a lot more than the actual money they receive. The money is often easy to get for a “blue” and can be risky if credit cards are involved. They are too optimistic to ever worry about the consuquences, and can often end up in debt with no way to pay if not very careful. Because a “Blue” is so creative and they see the big picture so easily as soon as they start looking at an opportunity they are thinking up ways to market it. They don’t really work out well in the normal work force. They want to be creative and someone is always holding them back, it’s a constant battle to keep their interest. The “blue is a spontaneous buyer and shopping is pure torture! They go into a store with tunnel vision and pity the poor fool who gets in their way. They have buyers remorse and often ask themselves if they payed too much. They don’t like to shop but when they do go they go in a store with laser focus. They get what they came for and get out. You don’t want to waste your time looking at other things. For entertainment the “blue” will be more than happy to go to the drag strip, the boat races or the nearest amusement park and ride all the rides, they’ll stop at a fast food joint and go through the drive-thru. When they go to a restaurant they’ll try anything, you don’t care about the days special. It’s all about trying something new and you’re so busy talking you’re the last one to order and often still have food on your plate when everyone else is done and wanting to go home. You eat fast and talk talk talk!

The “blue” will have a pet that’s usually fun to play with and full of energy, maybe a Jack Russell Terrier or Labrador Retreiver. The pet is bouncing all over the place, full of energy and play often barking the whole time. The animal may come from the pound but more than likely you have payed for it from somewhere else.

The “blue” has many facial expressions and they dress in Hawaiian shirts, stylish and flamboyant, always colorful and fun. They wear gold jewelry, a diamond ring or necklace anything bold and flashy. You have pictures of your family, awards and acheivements on your wall in the office as well as something fun to occupy yourself with when you get bored. You may be top sales producer for months in a row, or a public speaker, entertainer or an entrepreneur. Your handshake is fast and firm, the voice loud and fast. Your desk is often messy to the untrained eye but you know exactly where everything is and don’t want anyone to touch or move anything.

A “blue” will make a good marriage partner because they get along with everyone but, their best match is with a “Yellow” personality type. A “blue” is open with their feelings and has no problem saying “I love you” or expressing themselves through words or shows of affection.

To mentor a “blue” it is vitally important to get them focused and organized. They need to use a system that will help them stay organized and committed to the follow up. They have massive chatter going non-stop in their minds and it is important for a “blue to sign up for and participate in the Mental Cleanse program, it will change your life. You must learn to listen, practice listening to someone. Ask them questions and listen to their answers. They will ask you questions as well, answer them and get right back to listening. You already have a strong connection to people and as soon as you learn to leverage listening in with that you will be unstoppable.

In summary for all you beautiful “blue” people; Sign up for and participate in the Mental Cleanse program, stop the chatter in your mind and get focused and organized. Get yourself familiar with a system that will help you with the follow up and learn to listen. Team up with those who are strong in your weak areas and you will be on your way to success in no time. Everybody has a personality and each persons personality is different to a certain degree. A really long time ago….A greek Physician and Philosopher by the name of Hippocrates wrote about the four basic personality types. Dr. Carl Jung wrote once again in 1921 about the personalities, he called them…”Feeler” “Sensor” “Thinker” and “Intuitive.” Florence Littauer later on called the personalities “Phlegmatic” “Sanguine” “Melancholy” and “Choleric”

Since then there have been many books, reports and research done on the personality types. You can find more detailed study done by Michael O’Connor, Jim Cathcart and Dr. Tony Alessandra to name just a few.

It’s crucial to understand and be able to identify the personality types in the Network Marketing industry and it’s so much fun to use. Once you know the basics and start practicing this simple system you will experience a positive impact on your business as well as your personal life. With practice you will very soon be able to pinpoint the personality type of the person who sent you an email, the person you are speaking with on the phone or the complete stranger walking through the mall ahead of you. When you know the likes and dis-likes of the four personality types it gives you a slight edge and helps you know how to effectively relate and interact with each. You can quickly grab and hold someones complete attention when you can tell them something about themselves that people don’t usually know. An instant bond develops and people don’t easily forget that.

So what’s all this got to do with Red, Yellow Blue or Green? Well…People tend fall asleep when you say words like “Sanguine” or “Choleric” but everybody knows and understands the colors! You can easily learn this simple but greatly effective technique and quickly build a business with people who you understand and have a bond with. Remember…people join people, they do NOT join companies! This great training can easily improve your personal life as well. What “color” is your spouse? your Mother-in-Law?
