Life Is not the amount of breaths you take, it’s the
moments in your life that take your breath away.
Mental Cleanse Chapter 3.
My Lesson for Chap. 3, “FAITH”
It’s just amazing to me how many times I have to
remind myself that I am reading a book that was
written in 1937. And so many things that they
speak about in the context that it’s about to
change…yet it seems that we are still concerned
about so many of the exact same things today…
70 years later.
He speaks about “this stupendous machine age in
which we live, and from which we are just emerging,
has taken the soul out of men. Its leaders have
driven men as though they were pieces of cold
machinery; they were forced to do so by the employees
who have bargained, at the expense of all concerned,
“to get and not to give”.
The watchword of the future will be HUMAN HAPPINESS
AND CONTENTMENT, and when this state of mind shall
have been attained, the production will take care
of itself, more effectively than anything that has
ever been accomplished where men did not, and could
not mix FAITH and individual interest with their
labor.
Because of the need for faith and cooperation in
operating business and industry, it will be both
interesting and profitable to analyze an event which
provides an excellent understanding of the method
by which industrialists and business men
accumulate great fortunes…
“by giving before they try to get”.
The fundamental facts in their illustration regarding
the story of the United States Steel Corp. may
have been facts in 1900 when it happened…and
set down into a “method” by 1937 when Napoleon
Hill wrote “Think and Grow Rich”…but I wonder..
have we made much progress since then.
It seems that so many people are still searching
for this seemingly simple method of creating their
fortune …
1st: Create an IDEA through my IMAGINATION;
2nd: Mix FAITH with my IDEA;
3rd: Formulate a PLAN for transforming my IDEA
into physical and financial reality;
4th: Put my plan into ACTION;
5th: Apply, and follow-through on my PLAN with
PERSISTENCE and back it with firm DECISION
until it’s been fully carried out;
6th: Prepare the way for success by a BURNING
DESIRE for success.
Sounds simple, don’t you think? It is comforting to
know that FAITH is a state of mind that develops
voluntarily..I need that FAITH for step #2 in the
method above. And through the repetition of
affirmation of orders to my subconscious mind…
the only known method of voluntary development
of the emotion of faith…
I am in total control of those orders that I give to
my subconscious mind…I better make ‘em good ones!!

Visualization of, and belief in attainment of desire
Belief in some thing I can not see or logically explain.
that’s a tough one for me. Largely in part that my
imagination had atrophied from years of disuse.
How can I believe in what I can’t even imagine??
so for me this skill has grown slowly I had to
exercise and stretch out my imagination, then
attempt to connect my visions with emotion–
another big challenge.
Baby Steps. . .
What could I see and believe myself doing/achieving
in 12 months??? A year ago, it wasn’t much. Me?
build a business?? But I did manage to muster, that
I could committ and persist with the Mental Cleanse
for 1 year.
Faith can be induced thru repetition of affirmations
and instructions—Voila!!!
The magic of the System and the weekly calls.
Even when I failed to prompt my self through auto
suggestion, the consistent affirmations and instructions
I heard every week on the calls feed my subconscious
mind. The calls even helped me tap into emotion–
I found myself “excitedly” anticipating the calls,
feeling “happy,” “loved,” and “secure” amongst a group
of like minded people.
12+ months later, my imagination is bigger, my belief
is growing larger and larger. I have FAITH in things I
couldn’t have imagined a year ago.
One year ago I never would have imagined that I would
have such close relationships with a network a friends
spanning the United States, the globe.
Two years ago I could not imagine myself on a cruise
ship, didn’t even think I wanted to. This year I went
on my first cruise. And now with Team cruises, company
reward cruises/vacations, and MLM cruises, I now find
myself looking at taking 2-3 a year *smile* Big Change!
I could go on, but the point is my imagination, my
Faith, my power to affect change in my life has GROWN-
and is continuing to grow.
I still have trouble visualizing $$$$ but I can see
myself sticking with this Team, helping others reach
for Success, and sharing quality products with those
who want them.
I DO have FAITH that my ability to visual and emotion
alize will grow again this year, and bring with it
greater achievements and successes.

Chapter 3 Faith
The feeling portion of thoughts are the factors which
give thoughts life and action. All thoughts that have
been given feeling and mixed with Faith ( Belief ) will
translate themselves into their physical equivalent.
The emotions of Faith, Love and sex when mixed
with any thought impulse, give it greater action than
any of these emotions can do singly.
This is what I don’t understand Love and Faith are
psychic and related to the spiritual side of man
and sex is purely biological, and related only to
the physical.
We control what we think about . Weather our
thoughts are positive or weather they are negative
and our subconscious mind will translate into its
physical equivalent.
My Belief or Faith is the element which will
determine the action of my subconscious mind.
It is a known fact that we come , finally, to Believe
whatever we repeat to ourselves, weather it is true
or false………..This is where the Work begins…….

Chapter 3 on Faith:
As stated in chapter 3″ When Men first come in contact
with crime, they abhor it. If they remain in contact
with crime for a time, they become accustomed to it,
and endure it. If they remain in contact with it long
enough, they finally embrace it and become influenced
by it.
For the past 11 months, I have been done the 30 day
cleanse..ok I am a slow learner.For the past 11 months
I have sat on the side lines looking in, not believing
or having faith that I was worth or deserved success.
Like the criminal who gets comfortable with crime, I
have finally realized that over the past 11 months I
have been a student of me. By plugging into the calls,
listening to others tell their story,which is not much different than mine, silently crying and
laughing as I
listen to the many people who finally get it.
Now my faith and belief is When I first came in contact
with mentoring for free and the 30 day cleanse, I abhor
it. When I remained in contact with mentoring for free
and the 30 day cleanse, I became accustomed to it, and
endured it.
I remained in contact with mentoring for free and the
30 day cleanse for long enough, I finally embraced it,
and is influenced by it. I will remain in contact with mentoring for free and the 30 day cleanse to
continue
my growth and personal development.
Like the criminal who gets comfortable with crime, I
am comfortable with the person I have grown into, have
faith and belief in myself.

Chapter 3 Faith.
>Described here as the head chemist of the mind.<
Faith blended with the vibrations of thought is picked
up by the sub-conscious mind…..The subconscious mind
then passes it along to Infinite intelligence..This is
described as what happens with prayer.
Okay so let me see if I can decipher this in a more
simplistic way because this chapter has always
blown my mind.
Faith, Love and Sex. The most powerful of all the
major positive emotions. When the three are blended,
they affect the vibrations that come from thoughts so
quickly, that they instantly reach the subconscious
mind.
In other words when the mind LOVE and FAITH,
combine with the physical it takes the thoughts
from the carnal to the subconscious mind and TOGETHER
put these vibrations out to the Universe.
I am going to break this apart. The conscious mind of
man is fixated on the physical. Physical body, physical
images, physical safety… So what happens is that our
thoughts become rooted in what is happening currently.
So if we are struggling financially, we focus on poverty
thinking.If we are suffering physically,we focus on pain,
and if we are struggling with past thoughts of physical
or mental abuse, then we focus on how we felt during
that abuse.
So our EMOTIONS transmit these thoughts of fear to the subconscious mind and WOW! There
it comes bringing more
of the same. This is why it is so dangerous to watch
television and the news.
Our minds will fixate on those stories that tie into
our current situation and bring with it despair and
inertia and feelings of being doomed about our current situation.
We begin to feel that it will never END because it
seems that the world is full of it.
God says don’t fixate on what is of this world, when we
fixate here, we are not truly being SPIRITUAL BEINGS
or connected with HIM. And actually, we are not co-
creating with HIM, the abundance He truly wants for us.
So back to FAITH. FAITH is a state of mind which we
can develop at will. So how do we develop this state
of mind? We are very careful about what we THINK.
This is where repetition of affirmations to the sub-
conscious mind is so important. We must TRUST that
Abundance will come our way.

Financial abundance, abundant friendships, abundant
love, abundant connection with God. Abundant down-
line….. Thriving business….. Abundance…..
It is our responsibility to draw that to ourselves by
cleaning out the old decrepit thoughts of unworthiness,
fear and poverty and bringing in the new feeling of
DESERVING and EXPECTATION of all that we
DESIRE!
A mind FULL of POSITIVE EMOTIONS! ACT as though we
POSSESS already that which we desire!
SEE and FEEL the emotions of HAVING it already.Why
this alone sends out vibrations to ALL OF THOSE
AROUND US, bringing opportunity our way.
Feeling and thinking these positive thoughts are
felt by those around us, drawing to us the quality
people we need to grow our business.
And somehow, some way, the UNIVERSE feels it too
and delivers it unto us. And the universe IS Gods.
I don’t understand it right now, how it all works,
I have just come to TRUST that it works.
So I work VERY HARD on my self talk. My self talk
of what I am building.My self talk of my intentions
and WHO I WANT TO BE, in other words, what kind of
person do I want to be?
This is all in my self talk. Because as I come to
BELIEVE, I then BECOME.
