What Saved My Business
I am pretty new to blogging. I have heard many, many good things about it so I thought I would give it a go. Everyone I talk to about blogging has told me to write about what I know and what I am passionate about. So the idea of a blog that supports my passion of helping people succeed at network marketing was the obvious choice of subject.
I, myself am a full time, professional network marketer. I also dedicate a portion of each day helping other people to become successful in their company, whatever that company or program may be.
“Why do you help people that are not in your company?”, is a question I hear a lot. There is an easy answer. I don’t want other people to go through all the years of failure and frustration that I had to go through before I figured it out. I wasted hundreds or thousands of dollars. I don’t want others to suffer through that too. Or worse. The longer they struggle the more they kick themselves for failing.
I, like many other people, have a list of companies and programs I have tried and failed with. But I never gave up. I strongly believed that I could earn a great living with MLM, and thought I was doing something wrong. I decided I needed to learn more about it. So began my search.
I read what I could and I talked to many. Finally, I met a wonderful, caring lady on one of the business networking sites. She sent me a link to an ebook. That ebook, “Success in 10 Steps” opened my eyes and woke me up!
The truth is that about 97% of people who go into network marketing Fail!! That is a scary number. And all of those that are failing are more than likely blaming themselves. Isn’t that sad?
But the real eye opener is IT ISN’T YOUR FAULT!
If you’re a network marketer, how does that make you feel to hear that?

Once I really understood what that meant, I wanted to know more. I asked her to hooked me up with Mentoring For Free program. It has been a true life saver. If I didn’t invest in myself and my education, I would still be flopping around like a fish out of water, gasping for air.
Some people actually think it strange that you need to be trained to be a successful network marketer. I ask them, “Why do you find that strange?”. Don’t people get trained to be a school teacher, fork lift operator, burger maker at MacDonald’s? Sure they do. So why would network marketing be the only industry in the world that you can just jump in and Voila! be a success?
I will be posting helpful tips, sharing with you my resources and more. I hope you will leave comments or questions too. But just keep in mind, if your feelings get hurt easily or your not coachable and willing to learn, then don’t post here. I tell it like it is and I won’t sugar coat it. I believe the only thing that will bring the MLM industry out of the dog house is truth and integrity, and that is another reason why I do what I do.
