MFF member Dan Svoboda from OHIO shared a very
profound thought on the Coaches Corner call in
a Master Mind session, for the people that missed
this call Enjoy the Thought.
The human body is about 95 % water. Water Always
seeks the least path of resistance correct???
If we are mostly water why do we tell people to
get 100 NO’s, its good for you, or lets cold call
people right now, we are only looking for leaders,
if you are not a leader we don’t want you!
Are these practices Empowering or Dis-Empowering.
The truth is you only want Things and Thoughts in
your life that are Only EMPOWERING.
This one Master Mind thought will make many people
rich.
Who are you listening to ?
Who are you learning from?
Do They Have What You Want ?

The Power of the Master Mind
I’ve read “Think and Grow Rich” many times over the
years and this is the chapter that said to me, “it
doesn’t really matter if I figure out the rest of
this book, because I can’t get it figured out how I
will ever get a Master Mind group together.”
I remember imagining a group of people that I would
“round up” and we would all be sitting in thelittle
back room of a local restaurant over morning coffee
and trying to figure out just how one would go about
this thing called “The Master Mind”.
Obviously, that did not materialize. But every time
I was involved in a group…which ranged from meetings
at work, to community gatherings of like-minded people
working on a project, and committee meetings and prayer
groups or Bible study classes at church…I would try
to imagine the discussion being about Master Minding
and how that was supposed to look…according to
Napoleon Hill.
Well, needless to say…the challenge appeared to be
in getting a “spirit of harmony” going in any one of
those groups of people. And it was debatable whether
or not we were all trying to attain a definite purpose
…at least ONE definite purpose.
I think part of the problem was that I always thought
that a brainstorming session was what Master Minding
was about. But the definition of the “Master Mind”,
according to Dr. Hill is: “coordination of knowledge
and effort,in a spirit of harmony, between two or more
people for the attainment of a definite purpose.”
I’m fairly certain that does NOT translate into …
“every person for himself”.
And then I saw it happen…and I was amazed. Twice
in one day!
After witnessing the Master Mind in action on two
Mental Cleanse Calls, I realized it was the first
time I had ever seen the Master Mind principle in
action for real.
I wanted to participate, but all I could do was
sit there in awed silence wondering what was hap-
pening. Piece by piece, the puzzle was constructed
when the individual minds came together…each
contributing a thought, an image…and as Dr. Hill
says, “No two minds ever come together without,
thereby, creating a third invisible, intangible
force which may be likened to a third mind.”
And next time…I’m counting on my mind being more
involved in the harmony and purpose of the Master
Mind than it was that day! It was a major A-Ha
moment for me then…and I can’t wait to experience
it again…the “demonstration” just blew my mind!
Thank you, Michael and Linda, and this amazing
Master Mind group for all you do to help me “get
it”! It feels soooo awesome to now know that there
is nothing stopping me from putting every principle
in this unbelievable blueprint into action…even
the Master Mind group! I couldn’t have dreamed
it this good!!

POWER OF THE MASTER MIND
THE DRIVING FORCE
The Ninth Step toward Riches
Hi Michael
I love Chapter 10, and I think I’m going to love it
every time it comes around.
(And by the way, I’m looking forward to your magic
trick tomorrow!)
Here’s just one of the quotes that got my attention:
“No two minds ever come together without, thereby,
creating a third, invisible, intangible force which
may be likened to a third mind.”
I feel totally blessed to have met Anna, who is now
my partner in everything we do.
There is not a decision we make without consulting
each other, and there is not a moment we spend
apart where we do not feel the lack.
Until the year 2000 when we met again and married,
I had never experienced the power of two people on
the same side working toward the same goals.
In my previous relationships, there was always an
unnecessary struggle for control or some imagined
need for defence against an imagined enemy, when
it could have been an easy path to happiness and
harmony and success through co-operation.
Since meeting Anna, I have been able to happily and
lightly say that “One plus one is way more than two.”
As happy as that statement is, the opposite is
equally sad and lonely.
The more time we spend with Mentoring For Free
and the more time we spend talking to people, the
more I realize how many broken and damaged
people there are out there, and how little support
they are getting from their friends and family.
More importantly, how little support they are
getting from the most important people
in the world - their spouses.
The reason we get married and huddle up together
is to have someone by our side to make sense of
the outside world and to protect each other from the
nonsense and pesterments.
What a shock it must be when you embark on a
venture to better not only your own world, but the
worlds and the futures of your spouse and your
family, and you find that you do not have his or
her or their support.
Heartbreaking is an understatement, and that’s
the the negative side of the equation:
“Two minus one is much less than one.”
When you are in a partnership where you expect
support, and you suddenly realize you do not have
that support, you are now at a total disadvantage.
You not only have to work at building your dream
for yourself and your family, but you have to fight
constantly against the attacks and the criticism
of your spouse or your kids or your relatives or
your neighbors, and damn it, it’s wearing!!
Much of your energy is wasted fighting criticism
and verbal abuse and negativity and small thinking,
which leaves you less energy to pursue your
dream.
Which leaves you as less than one in a world
where you could be more than two.
I really don’t understand how some people
can set themselves up as authorities and
dreamstealers and emperors of our lives,
but they do, and we submit to them, and
we marry them, and we end up in situations
where we either have to educate them or
leave them to get on with the rest of our lives.
I feel blessed that, thanks to Anna, I no longer
have to think about that, and I hope we can help
others get through to the shinier side.
