“As Is” The Network Marketing Thrift Store

I’ve been in the downsize mode, at least in my mind, for quite some time.  It’s just overwhelming to me all the stuff my family has accumulated.  I’m the worst offender when it comes to getting rid of stuff.  There always seems to be a future use attached to an item and I can’t seem to pack it up and out of the house!

Then there’s the trouble I have once I make it to the Thrift Store to deliver my stuff.  Naturally, I’m going to go looking throughout the store to see if there are any treasures to be found.  I know any “used” item I find I must take “As Is,” but still I purge through the shelves and isles, my mind whirring, categorizing any need I might have dreamt up.  It doesn’t bother me in the least the “As Is” policy, or if somebody used it before me, its new to me!

It’s very likely I’ll run into a fellow treasure seeker who’ll offer me an invitation to visit.  I like those occasions where, “Come as you are,” is tagged to an invitation.  You meet someone out and about and your invited to coffee but really didn’t want to be seen in your “these are only to be worn around the house,” clothes.  Even though I expected to just dash in and out without being seen, my hair tied back and stuffed under a cap, I can’t resist the invite.  I’m being accepted just the way I am!

I can always tell if an offer is genuine.  How?  In retrospect, I believe the law of attraction is at play.  You attract like-minded people into your life.  Time comes when you have to trust your instincts fully.  A genuine invitation, from a genuine person really makes you feel the, “Come as you are, we’ll take you, As Is,” is sincere and nobody will attempt to change the treasure in you.

I found this to be true in Mentoring For Free.  I was invited to, “come as I am,” and accepted into a treasure of like-minded people. They want ME, not a clone or replica, just me.  Maybe I am a little used or trodden upon but they took me “as is.”
